Sylvia F. Pellum's Obituary
Sylvia F. Pellum, 83, of Tampa, FL., passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Born December 8, 1935 in Venice, FL, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Abbey I. (Shaw) Turney.
Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years of marriage, LeRoy G. Pellum; her daughters, Dedra B. (Christine) Graves, Donna Jean Freeman, Denise Diane Cates, and Ashley Cecile (Jake) MacKenn; her brothers, Joseph Turney Jr., Alan (Faye H.) Turney; as well as her ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Sylvia was also preceded in death by her son, John Harvey Pellum; her siblings, Wallace Turney, Gloria Pelham, Eleanor Brown, and Phyllis Turney; and her grandson, Steven D. Baker II.
Funeral Service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 11005 N. Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592 on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11:30am. Visitation 10:30-11:30am. Graveside Service will follow Chapel Service at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made in Sylvia’s memory to Oak Park Baptist Church, 4901 East 10th Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605.
