Miss Sylvia will greatly missed. She excepted me with open arms several years ago when I needed it the most. She'll always will be in my heart l admired her strength and convictions.

Sylvia was a beautiful, wise, strong woman, matriarch of the family. She will be dearly missed and I will never forget her. She welcomed me into her home, her family and her heart. Visiting her and Leroy was like coming home. Walking in, looking for that jug of sweet tea and seeing what she was cooking! Christmas and Thanksgiving with the family, so much love with a little craziness thrown in for good measure! I remember her sending us down the street with a plate of food for some less fortunate soul. I remember watching the ladies play cards and fishing on the pier at night under the stars. She was a beautiful soul and now she is an angel in heaven, with the greatest reward of all, to see Jesus and be with him. Rest in peace dear Mama, until we see you again...
Sylvia was always a beautiful lady inside and out! I pray peace for my cousins especially Roy. I remember her most from the yearly Denson Family reunions. My Aunt Sylvia exemplified the love of her Heavenly Father towards all that met her. I have so many memories growing up around her home and benefiting from her loving nature. The Bible says a name at death is greater than at birth because of the name that person has made for themselves in how they lived. We know her name is as precious to our Creator as it was to everyone that came to know her. Her love was quickly felt when you walked into her home. So many lessons were taught in her home and under her care but none greater than love and laughter. Even though times like this bring us to the house of mourning the Bible says such ones are happy. They’re happy because of reflecting on the life and memories of the one that has fallen asleep in death. Such memories can bring us comfort as we laugh and tear up over the many thoughts that are shared. Although Aunt Sylvia now awaits her resurrection we can use our time in showing love for one another by being there for each other just as she always was for us. 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.
