To Angi and Ron’s family, I am so very sorry for your loss. It’s so true — Ron never met a stranger, and I never once heard him complain. He was always supportive, kind, and ready to help.
I met your dad on my way home from the Honda Hoot in 1999, and what started as a chance encounter turned into a lifelong friendship. Ron lived large — always on his bike, sometimes with his golf clubs along for the ride. He was encouraging, generous, and genuinely cared about the people around him. I saw firsthand how deeply he loved his girls — his daughter and granddaughters — and his family.
We shared countless breakfasts, many rides, and so many wonderful memories over the years. One I’ll always treasure is when he took me to pick up my brand-new Harley in 2002 — twice! He encouraged me to ride it and break it in before adding the chrome, saying it would feel like getting a new bike all over again. That was Ron — always upbeat and ready to go for a ride.
I’ll always be grateful for his friendship. Sending love to you and your family.
Rest in peace, Ron. You will be missed. Fly high, my friend. 🕯️🕊️❤️
