Paul Grant Jr's Obituary
Paul Grant Jr., 58, passed away on October 27, 2025. Paul was a hardworking family man who loved spending his days relaxing on the beach with a margarita in one hand and his wife in the other. He enjoyed driving fast, watching a good stand-up comedy show, and in his prime, no one could stop him on the basketball court.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Paul Sr., his son Quamal, and his nephew Kalvin.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Charmaine; his son, Paul III; his daughter, Jada; his stepfather, Luther; his sisters, Ellen and Cynthia; his father-in-law, Egbert, and mother-in-law, Anita; his brothers-in-law, Trevor, Michael, and William; his sister-in-law, Candace; nephews, Jordan, Daniel, Joshua, and Israel; nieces, Tabitha, Tiffany, and Reyana; grandchildren, Jacyra, Anylah, Kayden, Moses, and Nasir; as well as many cousins and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A homegoing service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Sunset Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 10:00–11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Interment/burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens from 1:00–1:30 p.m., with a repast afterward at Sunset Funeral Home.
Paul will be remembered for his bright smile, his adventurous spirit, and the deep love he shared with his family and friends. His presence brought laughter, warmth, and light to everyone around him—and his memory will continue to do the same.
