In Loving Memory of Paul
Even though Paul was my uncle, he always felt more like an older brother to me. When I became a father, he guided me through that transition in a way only a real man who truly understands responsibility can. He taught me what it meant to step up not just in words, but in action.
Paul was the true definition of a hard working man. If his family needed something, he was going to find a way by any means necessary. That’s the kind of man he was. That’s the kind of example he set without even trying.
We shared a bond two men from two major cities, married into the same family and he made sure I understood something important early on:
We are the men in this family of strong women and it’s our duty to protect them, love them, and stand strong for them.
That message stuck with me. It shaped how I moved. It shaped how I father. It shaped how I show up.
Paul didn’t just tell me those things he lived them.
I am grateful that I got time with him. I am forever grateful for the game he passed down to me. And I will carry his lessons forward not just in memory, but in how I live.
Rest in peace, Paul.
Your impact remains.
