When I was a young Christian and very defeated at many attempts of sharing Christ with my mother, Mrs. C. would ask me how my mom was doing, and that she was praying for her regularly. When she said that she wss praying for her I knew that she was was praying and interceding for my mother.
I will never be able to put into words how her sweet Godly smile and genuine heart painted a portarait for me of how my mom could be, reflecting that same brilliant light of Jesus that she carried.
I couldn't wait to share with Mrs. C. in person during one of her visits up here with Steve and Troy, that my mother had accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior!
She smiled ear to ear, and with tears in her eyes of overwelming thankfulness she said to me, "Kenny the Lord is SO faithful!"
I just feel deep in my heart that Mrs. C. greeted my mom in heaven with a huge hug and probably said, "Bonnie! I am SO glad that you made it!! Let's sit and talk about our boys still down there."
I will always love you Mrs. C. and I can't wait to see you again.
