MaryLou Clark's Obituary
In the early morning hours of February 6th, 2025, MaryLou Clark (79) passed leaving behind the pain and her broken body to be reunited with loved ones on the other side of the veil. She will be profoundly missed by her family and all that were fortunate to meet her.
MaryLou did not have an easy life and worked incredibly hard for her family. She was born in Wapato, Washington and endured great poverty that acted like a crucible refining her love and dedication to family. She worked on the land her family farmed from a young age of 3 or 4. When she was 8 she began building her family's home just her and her younger brother Sonny. This innate ability to work hard and to try to continually improve her and her family's situation led her from the farm to the truck that delivers the fruit to the store, to the store that sells the fruit, to the distributor that supplies the store with beer and wine, to the orchard that sat in the middle of wine country. And it was hard every step of the way.
Marylou is missed by her daughters Michelle Clark and Theresa (Dimitre) Bobev. Her sister Gloria (Larry) Roemmich. Her brothers Vince (Doris) Visaya, John (Ruth) Visaya and Paul (Pam) Visaya. Her grandchildren Marissa Clark, Elizabeth Bobev, Dimitre Bobev, and Paul Bobev, and many nieces and nephews and their children.
She devoutly prayed her rosary and loved going to the life teen mass at Our Lady of the Rosary because of the music. Her Requiem mass will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary on Thursday February 20th, 2025, at 10:30am. There will be a reception immediately following in Mater Dei Hall at the same location all are welcome to share in a spirit of love that mom was famous for including feeding people. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial cemetery at 2pm that afternoon. We ask for prayers and petitions in lieu of a vigil service.
