Roger was my composing room supervisor back in the 80's at The Ledger in Lakeland.
He had to deal with working nights with a bunch of (mostly younger) women, who liked to play tricks on him and give him heck, at times.
I was a newly divorced single mom with an infant son working nights and Sat. without any family support. Roger was so kind and understanding with my situation. There was even a couple of times he helped me move.
About 7 years ago he came into The Ledger lobby and someone called me down to see him. Before he walked away, I took the opportunity to tell him that I appreciated what he did for me but never showed it at the time. Tears welled up in his eyes.
Roger is now an official angel!
