Juan D Espinal's Obituary
Juan De Dios Espinal was the first-born child out of twelve to the late Juan D Espinal y Francisca Martinez on April 23, 1928, in Loma de Carbrera, Dominican Republic.
At a young age, he was a very hard-working person, helping his parents in farm labors. That was when his love for agriculture began. But in his early 20’s the dictatorship that governed at that time forced him out of the countryside into the city. He dedicated almost 35 years of his life working for the government in the development and construction of the road system of his country. After the proper process, he got his green card that allowed him to come to the USA and give to his children a better opportunity of life.
In 1962, he married Gladys Ramos. Out of this union they had six children: Llojanis, Yomanis, Yovelis, Juan Miguel, Carlos Ruben y Riguelin. In 1972, his wife passed away leaving him to raise his children alone. Later in life, he had three other children: Yocelyn, Gisela, and Daniel.
Juan was an exemplary and virtuous son, brother, husband, and father. He taught us to work hard and honestly. He didn’t need to sign a paper to do business, because he was a man of his word. His children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and brothers will miss him forever. He has left us the legacy of his seriousness, respect, service, and love of work, but above all, he left us with the testimony of his love for God, and his faith in Jesus.
On April 6, 2024, he peacefully departed this earthly life. After 95 years of a blessed and fulfilled life, Juan De Dios Espinal leaves to mourn his children, Llojanis, Yomanis, Yovelis, Juan Miguel, Carlos Ruben, Riquelin, Yocelin, Gisela, and Daniel; daughters-in-law, Madeline and Evelyn; son-in-law, Jeffery; grandchildren, Franchesca, Catherine, Shakira, Vanessa, Zahbiana, April, Emil, Matthew, Amoz, Camille, Eli, Janmarcos; and great-grandchildren, Ginelsy, Julian, Eliana, Daniela, Aaliyah Julius and Ella; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins that loved him dearly.
The family will receive friends from 9-11am on Friday, April 12, 2024, with funeral service at 11am, Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N US Hwy 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592. Interment will follow at 12pm, Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N US Hwy 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592.
