Janice Ellen Reilly's Obituary
Janice Ellen Reilly, 75, passed away March 10, 2016. She was born October 10, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Walter and Anna (Ericksen) Hansen. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; brother, Walter; and sister, Judy.
Janice came to Hillsborough County from Brooklyn, NY in 1947. It was here that she grew up, went to school and met her husband of 49 years. She was an active member of East Chelsea Baptist Church for over 25 years. She retired as an Assistant Public Information Officer for the Tampa Police Department; a position she very much enjoyed and was very proud of. She later worked at Busch Gardens for 10 years. Janice loved to bowl, play volleyball and Bingo, dance, travel, water aerobics and she was very involved with The Meadows Community.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Kenneth Reilly and his wife Sherry of Plant City; daughter, Kristen Fatico and her husband Travis of Land-O-Lakes, Florida; sisters, Jeri DelValle and her husband Robert of Brooksville; and Joanne Wales of Fort Meade; brother, Richard Hansen and his wife Becky of Riverview; grandchildren, Jacob and his wife Chrisanne, Kaley, Brittney and Jordan.
There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 1:00 pm at East Chelsea Baptist Church, 7225 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa. Private interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Contributions may be mailed in Janice’s honor to the East Chelsea Baptist Church, “the sweetest church on the planet”. Memories and condolences may be left at www.sunset-fh.com.
