Maureen Marconi
Ed was my funny, crazy cousin. His dad and my mother's father, Frank Scully, (my grandfather) were brothers. We all grew up in San Francisco. When I was a kid I remember all the funny things he would do to make us kids laugh. My mom, Grace Marconi, was best friends with his mom, Bea. His mom and my mom would get together and laugh, laugh, laugh, all the while enjoying more than a few drinks and cigarettes. I haven't seen Ed since those childhood days in San Francisco and am so sorry that I never made it up to Tampa the few times I was in Florida going on cruises. He sent me a lovely note when my mom died at the age of 90 in November of 2011. I made a digital photobook of my mom's life for her 90th birthday party. After she died two months later I did an addendum to the book and included Ed's moving note and his picutre in the book.
The world has lost a remarkable human being.
