Carol R. Slane's Obituary
Carol Ruth Slane October 27, 1945 -- October 21, 2025
Carol Ruth Slane, a devoted Christian, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 21, 2025, at the age of 79.
She was a shining example of faith, kindness and service. She was a member of Brandon Baptist Tabernacle, and a long-time member of Faith Baptist Church in Seffner. Her unwavering trust in God, unconditional devotion to family, and her compassionate heart will leave a lasting legacy to all who knew her.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry C. Slane, Jr., sister Barbara Herlong, and her parents Bertrand and Viola Skau.
Carol is survived by her daughter Becky Maxey (Bob) and her son Henry "Chris" Slane, III (Kim).
She leaves behind four cherished grandchildren Grace Slane, Henry Slane IV, Robert Maxey, and Megan Maxey.
She is also survived by two of her three sisters, Betty Wetmore and Brenda Warner as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Carol is now rejoicing in Heaven with her Savior Jesus Christ and loved ones that have gone on before her.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 10am followed by a service at 11am at Faith Baptist Church, 603 Faithway Drive, Seffner, Florida.
