Dexter Bandoo
Today, we gather to honour the life and legacy of Carmen Hope Miller popularly known as “aunt hope”. She was not only a God fearing wife but also a prayer warrior who inspired countless individuals to honor God in all that they do.
I still recall the day I first met aunt hope, on that Easter morning she gathered all kids and said go hunt Easter eggs at the end of the hunting I came up with not even one eggs smh aunt hope then said come Kiki I save some for you. Since that day shes been my savior, anything I wanted I run to aunt hope she never said no despite her circumstances., I am honored to say she carried the mantle for the Bandoo family. Aunt hope saw potential in me that I didn’t even know existed and believed in me when I doubted myself.
I can always remember her saying, Young man give your life to God he is the only way, don’t waste that beautiful talent and then followed up saying let me pray for you . In every visit with her I could feel her unwavering support and her words of encouragement shaped not only my career but also my outlook on life – giving me a positive perspective that in turn drove my ambition to do her proud.
Many of you may have experienced aunt hope legendary abilities. Whether recounting tales of triumph or adversity, she had a gift for weaving words that captivated our minds, touched our souls, and truly made us think about life in its entity .
As we say goodbye, (see u later )to Aunt hope let us carry forward the lessons she imparted and the values she embodied. Though she may no longer walk beside us, her legacy of inspiration and empowerment will live on in the lives she touched and we can all carry that legacy forward to inspire the next generation. Thank you
