Wilmer A Johnston's Obituary
Bill (Wilmer) A. Johnston Jr. (82) of Tampa, FL took his final journey on September 1, 2023 to be with his God and Savior, Jesus Christ and join those family and friends that have gone before him. Bill lived his life in Tampa practicing as a commercial architect and later in life learning to pilot his Piper Cherokee. He was an active member of Silver Wings Fraternity. He was also a life-time enthusiast of steam trains. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He was devoted to his church family and taught an adult Bible study class for over 40 years.
Bill is survived by his wife Pat of 57 years; son Tyler and wife Ida Marie and grandchildren Thomas and Hailey; daughter Heather Conley and husband Blake and grandchildren Jenna and Nathan; sister Marianna Clarke and husband Bill; sister Hannah Vickery and husband Henry and many nephews and nieces. Bill’s smile and gentle spirit will always be a part of us.
Our Dear Bill – rest in peace – we know God has you in His arms.
