Willie W. Byrd Jr.'s Obituary
Willie Warren Byrd Jr., 72, of Plant City, FL., passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019. Born August 6, 1946 in Tampa, FL., he was the son of the late Willie W. and Bernice E. (Jones) Byrd.
Willie served proudly in the U.S Army and retired from Underground Directional Drilling after many years of service.
Survivors include his loving children, William M. Byrd, Timothy W. (Misty) Byrd, Eric P. (Heather) Byrd and Nina R. (Rusty) Brown; his siblings, Tommy Byrd and Sandy Byrd; as well as his eight grandchildren, one great-grandson and a great-grandson on the way.
Graveside Services will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592 on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 10am, with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made in Willie’s memory to the Florida Veterans Foundation, www.helpflvets.org.
