William John Thompson's Obituary
William John Thompson, 93, passed away September 2, 2015. He was born July 16, 1922 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Rose (Caldarelli) Thompson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Marion; brother, Richard; niece, Cheryl; and nephew, William who was named after him.
William was a Chrisitian and served our country in the US Navy. He loved creating artwork and graduated from the Washington School of Art. He came to Hillsborough County in 1957 from Pittsburgh. He also enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Robert Thompson of Helena, Montana; sisters, Ruth Restieri and her husband Robert of Thonotosassa; Audrey Franklin and her husband Tommy of Thonotosassa; and Janet Tomberlin and her husband Wayne of Tampa; step-daughters, Peggy, Beverly and Linda; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592.
