William "Bill" J. Rice Jr.'s Obituary
William "Bill" Rice. Jr. passed away in his longtime home on June 13th, 2020 in Tampa.
Bill was born in Lexington, KY on September 20, 1947.
He was preceded in death by his mother, June Rice, and his father, Will Rice.
He is survived by many cousins, his best friend, Tina Ayers (Jay) and her children Annie Ayers-Harris (Steven), Ernie Ayers (Tracy), and an adopted son, LesThompson (Angel).
Although Bill did not have any children of his own, he is survived by many that will live on with his memory through baseball. Bill will receive military honors for serving in the United States Army during Vietnam. He will be laid to rest on June 26th, 2020 at Sunset Memory Gardens with a Celebration of Life on June 27, 2020. We ask that in Bill's memory a donation be made to his GoFundMe to sponsor a couple of local ball teams.
