My heart goes out to his family and friends. He was always so great to us whenever he was in town. He treated my kids so great, allowing us all to meet and pet the elephants, these memories will live in forever. RIP my childhood friend. You will never be forgotten.
It greatly pains me to hear of Billy's passing. The times we hung out as kids were the best times of my childhood. I always enjoyed working with the Morris family. You were all such genuinely wonderful people.
The last time I worked with Billy was on the Maine Dates when the group convinced me to drive us all up to Canada, and we got lost in the back roads for hours and then had to endure an interrogation by the customs agent. Always an adventure.
Since I heard the news, Cindy, Lee, and his children have been in my thoughts. I wish you all well in these hard times. Deepest condolences from me, and the entire Van Buskirk family.
It seems like just the other day we where at the fair grounds in Baton Rouge with Billy and we weren't any bigger than Shannon Billy will be missed
