Wendell "Woody" Baughman III's Obituary
“Woody”, Wendell Creed Baughman III passed from this life to his eternal home on February 20, 2025. Woody was born October 12, 1988 in Tucson Arizona. He is survived by his parents Creed and Wendy Baughman of Tampa Florida his sister and brother-in-law Melody and Drake Pledger of Wylie Texas, his brother Noah Baughman of Atlanta Georgia, his aunt and uncle Sherry and Jack Albertson of Brawley California, and his paternal grandparents Wendell and Ruth Baughman of El Centro California.
Woody was enthusiastically named after his beloved grandfather and namesake Wendell (“Papa”) including his nickname “Woody” which is a variation of Papa’s childhood nickname. Woody grew up in Tucson Arizona where he was an active member of the Northside Church of Christ. He attended Florida College in Temple Terrace Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. His most recent church home was Seminole Church of Christ in Tampa. Woody cared genuinely, loved deeply, inquired earnestly, and followed faithfully. He has now rested from his labors.
