Violet "Zeto" Engels' Obituary
Violet Engels, 88, passed away on August 17, 2021. She was born to Jim and Carmen Zeto in Tampa, FL on October 15, 1932. Violet was a member of St. Anne's catholic Church in Ridge Manor, FL. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Tampa and retired from Pepsi Cola Bottling Company. Violet is survived by her children: Brenda Engels Holbin, Theon "Ted" Charles Engels Jr. and Denise Engels Gaarder (Wayne); grand children: Amber Holbin Wikstrom (Robbie), Christina Holbin M'Gaha (Eric), Wayne Gaarder Jr. (Ashley), Leslie Gaarder, and Christopher Gaarder; great grand children: Isabella, MaKenlie, Joshua, Jacob and MaKenzie Gaarder, Robert Eric, Elijah, Jacob and Sarah M'Gaha; nieces: Carol Castellano (Tommy), Lindy Ortega (Frank), Kim Alberto (Jesus) and Dina Caccamo. She is preceded in death by her parents: Vincenzo (Jim) Zeto and Carmela Cardinale Zeto; sisters; Mary Zeto Caccamo and Josephine Zeto McRee; former husband: Theon Charles (Ted) Engels, Sr.; nephew: David Mendoza; son-in-law: Don Holbin.
There will be a visitation at 10 am at St Joseph Catholic Church in Zephyrhills, FL on Tuesday, August 24 with Mass at 11 am. Burial will be at 1 pm at Sunset Memory Gardens.
