Tyler Alexander Battaglini's Obituary
Tyler Battaglini was born on October 8, 1993, in Sarasota, Florida, and passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 31. He grew up and lived in Wesley Chapel, Florida, where he touched the lives of so many with his kindness, loyalty, and unwavering friendship.
Tyler was the beloved son of Paul and Jane Battaglini and the cherished brother of Michael Battaglini. He was a loving uncle to Alyvia and Avery, and a brother-in-law to Michael’s wife, Alaina. Tyler is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends, all of whom will forever cherish his memory.
A devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan, he also had a deep passion for heavy metal music, playing Magic: The Gathering, and spending time with his friends. He was always the first to lend a helping hand and had a heart as big as his love for the people around him.
A 2012 graduate of Wiregrass Ranch High School, Tyler was a gifted athlete in his youth, excelling in competitive soccer and basketball. His love for sports, games, and music reflected his energetic and passionate spirit, and his presence brought joy to everyone around him.
A celebration of his life will be held on April 5, 2025, at Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa, Florida. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, in honor of Tyler’s memory.
Tyler’s legacy of friendship, love, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
