I'm stunned & saddened...
Charlie is remembering days of playing basketball at King High School, drag racing back in the 60's, off road racing in the 70's and spending time together as friends that will never be forgotten. Sending loving thoughts to Marty and family.
Candy remembers all the great times we had together in Tampa, while at the race tracks or just enjoying our families together. We will miss you Tom, you have been a great friend. Love and comfort to you Marty and to your family.
I love my grandfather. Very much. You know he used to have this silly saying he used to say to me and my brother and it goes like this, "see my finger, see my thumb, see my fist you better run." He was so strong. He was like a big bear that was so protective but at the same time very sensitive and sweet. Looking back at it, we have a lot of memories together. Like playing hot potato in the living room with my stuffed animals with grandma or watching movies with me. The list goes on and on. He was like no other. I love you pop. You were so great, you had it all. You supplied your family with the best life and the best memories. We love you Pop.
We met Tom and Marty over 45 years ago. We all shared common interests, and the racing bug really brought our families together. Tom and Marty welcomed us "into" their family, as all of ours were all in the mid-west. We leaned on each other during the difficult times, and celebrated hard during the good times.
I could go one for hours about all the memories we share, but I won't, but many times we would talk about everything that has gone on in our lives, and often have said that we should have written a book to share them. As a result of our close family bond, our children and grand children were fortunate enough to have known Tom, thus, they can also carry the memory forward in their hearts.
WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU TOM....but you are no longer suffering, and we'll never forget you.

I met Tom Seckman thru work. He was responsible for many of fire sprinkler installs over the years. Always a pleasure to run into Tom as he was always friendly, helpful , kind and hard working man. Could tell family was important to Tom. The fact that all his employees thought so highly of Tom always impressed me .No one ever had anything but good to say about Tom or Pops as I think he preferred. Will miss you and big red Tom, rest in peace friend sincerely Steve Jennings
