Thomas Cummings' Obituary
"How do you write an obituary of a Loving Father, Husband and Son? How do you get the message across to the reader of how Wonderful Thomas Samuel Cummings was and how very much he will be missed ? He was born November 4, 1931 in God's country, Needham, Alabama. A place that he was sure to instill the Love and Adoration in his 4 daughters hearts. Everyone that knew him Loved him and knew he was a GREAT man. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force, traveling the world to Germany, France and Turkey and then retiring in 1971.
He loved God and never missed a day of prayers. He adored his wife Lola to a fault for 67 years and could not wait to see her again. The unconditional Love that he gave to his Family was absolute. He left us behind to grieve and survive without him but we are all happy for him because we know that he has been reunited with his wife Lola, his parents Clara and George, his sisters Gynell and Gladys, his brothers Lavern and Colin and his grandson Mark. He leaves behind his Children Shirley and Ken Gillming, Karen and Wayne Jackson, Diane and Ronnie Capp, Sandra and Paul Glass; his Grandchildren Kenneth, Heather, Rebekah, Elizabeth, Wayne Jr, Douglas, Waylon, Thomas, Tyler and Clara, 14 great grandchildren, his Sisters and a Brother. He will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors Thursday January 21st at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens 11005 N, US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592. Everyone is welcome. Condolence or flowers can be sent to our homes or to the Sunset Gardens.
