Stanley Oliver Wooldridge's Obituary
Stanley Oliver Wooldridge, Stan, age 77, of Tampa Florida passed away on May 9, 2026. He was born on July 25, 1948 in Cincinnati Ohio to the late Kermit David Wooldridge and Marjorie Tayloe Wooldridge.
Stan proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1966-1970. His tours included Manila, Philippines, Vietnam and American Samoa. He then began his 40 year career with GTE/Verizon in Tampa until his retirement in 2011.
Stan loved all sports and coached youth football and baseball in Temple Terrace for many years. He particularly loved watching his children and grandchildren play in various sports. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and visited local, State and National Parks. He was an expert photographer capturing many extraordinary images of beauty of nature.
In addition to his parents, Stan was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Wooldridge. He is survived by his wife for 34 years, Jeannine Wooldridge, his sons, David Wooldridge (Amy), Kenneth Conrad Wooldridge (Milena), his four grandchildren Taylor Wooldridge, Hayden Wooldridge, Conrad Wooldridge, and Calvin Wooldridge. His sister Frances Bekafigo, his brother Robert Wooldridge and his niece Marija Bekafigo.
