Sarsfield Richard Moynihan's Obituary
Sarsfield Richard Moynihan passed away on October 18, 2022, in Temple Terrace, Florida.
Born in Waterbury, CT on December 13, 1938, Richard grew up and lived in Buffalo before moving to Fort Lauderdale and eventually Temple Terrace, FL. He was in the US Marines before working in Fort Lauderdale in various careers, including as a fire fighter. He ultimately worked in a long, successful career with Federal Express Corporation where he retired.
Richard was the son of Sarsfield and Lillian Moynihan and predeceased by his adoptive parents Anna and Ollie Bachmann, and his ½ brother Alan Stoddard. He was the husband of the late Susan Moynihan and a devoted parent of his late Pekingese Britney. He is survived by and was the father of Dan Davis (Jennifer) and his nephews/nieces Steven and Stephanie Brain, Britt Stoddard (Julia), Eric Stoddard (Laurie), Ann Stoddard (Alan) and Jeff Stoddard (Jan).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at Sunset Funeral Home , 11005 N US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL on March 4th , with visitation starting at 9 AM with services at 10:00. Grave side services will follow immediately at Sunset Memory Gardens.
