There is nothing Sarah Jane loved more than her family. She always shared stories with me about Jamal (Alex) and Dante growing up, playing football together, gaming together, doing yard work and Dante sneaking back into the house! Taking them to away games, making snacks, just taking care of and enjoying her children were her fondest memories. She loved me, her mother, father, children, and brothers above all else.
She enjoyed being out, and was always eager to leave when I got home from work, be it out to eat, just riding around, a short afternoon boating excursion, or just grocery shopping. She loved just going out in her jeep with the top off and wind in her hair. When my children were with us they would all get excited to see a jeep in the parking lot and the would hop out and run over to put a duck on it. She loved going rock crawling and told me many stories of her and Jamal taking Alex and Dante. There wasn't anywhere near us to rock crawl but she did enjoy the trails and mud in the forest!
She was an RN for some time, and it gave her fulfillment to help others well after she was unable to work. She cared so much for others and was so compassionate. She would happily help anyone if she could, even if it meant that she did without.
Sarah was not just my wife, but my best friend and confidante. I could talk to her about or share anything with her without being judged. She was a beautiful person, and I can only hope that I can attain to be more like her. I love you with all my heart Sarah Jane.
