My dear sweet cousin...I am still in shock and just cannot believe that this world has lost such a beautiful soul. I never got the chance to tell you how proud I was of the life you were living. I could see how happy you were and that made my heart smile knowing that you had finally found happiness. I love you so much cousin and I am so very sad that you are gone.
I remember when Elizabeth came to visit me when Sarahjane was around 3 months old. I was not due to have Shannon for 3 more months.. We put her in a older baby swing on back porch while we sat there visiting. Sarahjane fell asleep in the fresh Country area. She was so cute and content.
Sarah Jane really had a way of brightening up a room by just a single smile. She has touched so many lives as a nurse and as a friend. She always made time to check on people and show love. She was funny and playful. She was a great storyteller. She was a genuinely good person with a loving heart and a great personality. She will be dearly Missed. Love to you always Sarah Jane. I met Sarah Jane for the first time at my/our son’s wedding. I had spoken to her on the phone prior to that but only finally met her in person in October of 2020. She told me that the weather here was crazy and “You know I’m a Florida girl! This weather is cold to me and you’re running around like it’s still warm out!” I just loved her. I was so excited that she was my son’s bonus mom and she showed my son a love and compassion that I didn’t think that one could possess for another’s child under the circumstances. However, I had a BEAUTIFUL escort at Noah’s wedding and that is a memory I will cherish for all my days to come! Thank you, Sarah Jane! Thank you for being you. Your presence in my life made me want to be a better person and I strive to do so daily. I will never forget you, your love, your smile, your compassion… Rest in Love, my friend! For always ❤️
Sarah Jane brought so much love and joy to Brian and his children's life. We were so looking forward to meeting this amazing new daughter-in-law and sister-in-law that Brian fell in love with this coming April. There is nothing Sarah Jane loved more than her family. She always shared stories with me about Jamal (Alex) and Dante growing up, playing football together, gaming together, doing yard work and Dante sneaking back into the house! Taking them to away games, making snacks, just taking care of and enjoying her children were her fondest memories. She loved me, her mother, father, children, and brothers above all else.
She enjoyed being out, and was always eager to leave when I got home from work, be it out to eat, just riding around, a short afternoon boating excursion, or just grocery shopping. She loved just going out in her jeep with the top off and wind in her hair. When my children were with us they would all get excited to see a jeep in the parking lot and the would hop out and run over to put a duck on it. She loved going rock crawling and told me many stories of her and Jamal taking Alex and Dante. There wasn't anywhere near us to rock crawl but she did enjoy the trails and mud in the forest!
She was an RN for some time, and it gave her fulfillment to help others well after she was unable to work. She cared so much for others and was so compassionate. She would happily help anyone if she could, even if it meant that she did without.
Sarah was not just my wife, but my best friend and confidante. I could talk to her about or share anything with her without being judged. She was a beautiful person, and I can only hope that I can attain to be more like her. I love you with all my heart Sarah Jane.

I met Sarah on Facebook from a post my friend Courtney I went to middle school posted about Ehlers Danlos Syndrome I commented on The post and then learned Sarah also had it. We became friend and talked often. She will be missed.
