Sandra Lee Homan's Obituary
Sandra Lee Oates Homan, AKA, Sandi, Nana, 66, passed away October 22, 2015. She was born October 7, 1949 in Tampa, Florida to the late David Ray and Alice Marguarite (Haslinger) Oates.
Sandra was a lifelong resident of Hillsborough County except for the last 10 years she spent in Belleview, Florida. She was a service writer for an automotive dealership. Sandra’s life was centered around music, racing and supporting our troops, which many of her family have served and two grandsons which are presently serving in the United States Navy.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 9 years, James; daughter, Kimberly Bowser of Sheffield, Alabama; son, Rich Pratt and his wife Nicole of Anthony, Florida; step-children, Laura Savino and her husband Justin of Ocala and Stephen Homan of Portland, Oregon; brothers, Joseph Oates and his wife Chris of Seffner, Florida and Bill Oates of Lakeland; grandchildren, Will and his wife Devinne, Scott, Payton, Allison, Reece, Gavin, Uriah and Avery; great-granddaughter, Harper; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 pm.
