Samuel Scoggins' Obituary
Samuel M. Scoggins, 88, of Tampa, Florida passed away on February 13, 2023 at the James A. Haley Veteran’s Hospital. Sam was born on October 16, 1934 in Cairo, Georgia. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Faye Scoggins, his three children, Debbie, Cindy and Mike and his grandsons Terry and Michael. Sam was a US Navy veteran, a member of Swartzel Masonic Lodge 251 in Lutz,Florida, the American Legion Post 138, the Veterans of Foreign War and the Disabled American Veterans. He had many interests and hobbies including woodworking, metal detecting and learning to play musical instruments. He was a devoted husband, father and friend. He will be greatly missed.
