Roxanne Hryc's Obituary
On February 24, 2022 Roxanne Hryc, loving wife and mother of two passed away. While her life was cut short, it was filled with love and laughter.
Roxanne is survived by her husband David, who she stood by for thirty-eight years, her two children Christopher (Ashley) and Samantha (Kevin), her sister Heather (Jose), her brother Sammy and her five grandchildren; Logan, Callahan, Abigail, Makayla, and Luke.
Roxanne would often answer the phone with her signature “Hellloooo” that would often brighten up a conversation. She would often greet you with a hug, the kind of hug that hurts, the kind full of love. Whether it was on the telephone or in person Roxanne always had to have the last “I love you” because she wanted to make sure you knew you were loved. Roxanne was a working mother for most of her life, but always made time for her two children, never missing an event. It’s easy to say that Roxanne’s most prized possessions in her life were her grandchildren, they could do no wrong. She often enjoyed watching Logan and Callahan play soccer on Saturdays, daily trips to the Dollar General for her “little miss Abby” and helping Samantha with diaper duty for Luke and Makayla. While her time with them was cut far too short her memory will live on inside of them forever.
In her final days, Roxanne said she was at peace and that we should be as well. Roxanne reminded us that family is the most important thing in life, leaving us with the following words:
Don’t waste time on Hate:
Don’t waste time on Bitterness:
Don’t care what anyone thinks except your family….
The time really is short…
Don’t waste a moment….
