Rosa Ramos' Obituary
Rosa Ramos, 89, of Tampa, Florida departed her loving family on Tuesday December 14, 2021. Rosa was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on May 20, 1032. She resided in Brooklyn, New York after her arrival from Puerto Rico at the age of 17 where she raised her family. Rosa is preceded in death by her mother Baudilia, her brother Carlos and her sister Senovia. She is survived by her loving husband Victor and her two daughters Milagros (Millie) and Yvette (Evy), her grandsons Nicky and Alex, her great grandchildren, Marcus, Jesenia, Giovani, Ariana, and Skylar, her nieces Sylvia (Louis), Nancy (Leon) and Rose, her nephews Carlos and Samuel (Marcia), her grandnephews and grandnieces. Rosa had a passion for cooking. She was happiest when her family and friends gathered around the table in fellowship. She also enjoyed hours of playing Bingo with guest late into the night. Throughout the years she worked as a school crossing guard, a homeless shelter and at St Joseph's hospital in food service. Anyone that truly knew her, knew she had a big heart. She loved her family deeply and touched everybody's lives. Rosa may not be walking this earth anymore but she leaves a great legacy of her loving and caring ways. Service eill be held from 11:30- 2:30 pm at Sunset Memory Gardens 11005 N US Hwy 301 Thonotosassa, FL 33592 813-986-2402. A celebration of life will follow from 3:30 - 6:30 pm at La Quinta Inn and Suites USF 3701 E Fowler Ave. Tampa, FL 33612.
