Rosa Lee Gandy's Obituary
Rosa Lee Gandy, 89, of Tampa, FL passed away peacefully at her home on January 7, 2024.
Rose, as she was lovingly called, was born on April 21, 1934, in Tallassee, Alabama to Hattie Mae Benton and Adolph Benton. She married Henry Daniel “Dan” Gandy on May 1, 1953.
Rose was a caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an Ordained Minister who, throughout her lifetime, was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and community. Heaven gained a new Angel, and she will be sorely missed by those who were blessed to have known her.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband Dan, her brothers Pete and Paul and her daughter Maria.
She is survived by her two sons, Steve Gandy and Randy Gandy (Karen). Grandchildren Daphne Nichols (Tad), Adam Gandy (Becky), Jina Gandy, Ryan Stokes (Natalia) and Jenna Stokes (Kellan) and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592. A funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Internment immediately following.
