Roberto Rijos Morales' Obituary
Roberto Rijos Morales, 75, passed away May 30, 2017. He was born June 7, 1941 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Esteban Rijos and Rosa Morales. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death wife (just last month), Iris Figueroa; and his brother, Rafael.
Roberto came to Tampa in 2003 from the Bronx, New York. He was a catholic and proudly served in the US Army. He enjoyed reading, traveling, crossword puzzles and his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Aixa Rijos of Tampa and Kendra Rijos of Tampa; son, Roberto Rijos and his wife Leida of Yonkers, New York; siblings, Julie, Iliana, Rosa, Johnny and Enrique; grandchildren, Enixa, Kendra, Kilbert, Lydia, Alicia, Nico, Hailey, Anabella and Natalia; and one great grandson, Vincent.
There will be a graveside service and Military Honors on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Interment will be in Sarasota National Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be left online at www.sunset-fh.com.
