Roberta "Ellen" Oberle Story's Obituary
Roberta Ellen Oberle Story, 75, passed away November 16, 2017. She was born October 16, 1942 in Riverview, Florida to the late Oland and Roberta (Braidwood) McMillan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benny H. Story.
Ellen was a lifelong resident of the Tampa area. She was a member of St. Clements Catholic Church. She earned her Masters Degree in Education from the University of South Florida. She retired from being an elementary school teacher after 30 years. Her last school was Pinecrest Elementary. She loved the beach and her grandchildren more than anything.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Joseph Oberle and his wife Christine; daughters, Sandra Cappuccilli and her husband Daniel; Connie Garvey and her husband Tom and Robbie Oberle; brothers, Jim McMillan and his wife Karen; Jack McMillan and his wife Sylvia; and Doug Hails; grandchildren, Mathew, Skyler, Danielle, Joey, Kobe, Logan and Braden; God daughter, Jenifer Finger and her husband Derek; nieces and nephew, Christie Washburn and Todd McMillan.
There will be a funeral mass held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10:30 am at Nativity Catholic Church, 705 E Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511. Entombment will be private at Sunset Memory Gardens.
