Robert Francis Sasnett III, born on October 17, 1996, in Olney, Maryland, passed away on August 22, 2024, in Thonotosassa, Florida. His life journey, marked by love, laughter, and resilience, spanned 27 years.
He was the beloved son of Jamie Sasnett and the late Robert Francis Sasnett Jr. He was also preceded in death by his great grandmother, Cynthia Justus, and his paternal grandmother, Valarie Sasnett.
Robert was a dedicated professional in the tree service industry. His passion for working as a tree climber was evident in his hard work. He found joy and fulfillment in the heights and risks of his career, a reflection of his adventurous spirit and unwavering commitment.
Robert’s kind eyes and sweet smile made those around him feel welcomed. He was always the first to dance and sing along, his joy radiating and producing a laugh from all those around him. Robert's life, his own beautiful song, had a melody that will continue to resonate in the hearts of his loved ones.
Robert is survived by a large and loving family
who will forever cherish his memory. His daughter, River Freya Denise Sasnett, and his stepson, Jason Axel Lee were the lights that guided Robert through his new Journey in fatherhood.
From the moment of birth, his mother Jamie's heart was inextricably linked to her son's, a connection that deepened and evolved throughout their lives. It's a bond that transcends words, a silent understanding that can bridge any distance or challenge. Jamie showed Robert unconditional and unwavering love at all times.
He is also survived by his brother, Matthew Ryan Sasnett, step-brother Michael Denoon, step- sister Ashleigh Denoon and step-father James Denoon.
His paternal grandparents, Robert Francis Sasnett Sr, Step-Grandmother Sandra Sasnett and his maternal grandparents, Jimmie Lane Sr. and Kim Hoke, provided him with love and encouragement. He is also survived by his aunts, Josie Lane, Samantha Klavon, and Annie Sasnett; his uncles Jimmie Lane Jr and Jessie Lane ( with wife Kayla Lane) and Mark Miller.
Josie, Jessie and Kayla were valued relationships, especially during his time in Florida; Robert's great aunt, Jane Blankenship, and his great uncle, Johnny Blankenship were important foundations of support, reassurance and love, most notably in his childhood.
Robert's cousins, Cynthia Blankenship, Courtney Blankenship, Tyler Blankenship, Sebastian Blankenship, Alexis Townsend, and Madison Ward, were more like siblings to him, sharing a lifetime of experiences together through laughter, hardships, milestones and memories.
Robert showcased the power of the human spirit as he walked through life with a gentle strength. Though his time with us was too short, the impact he made on the lives of those around him will be felt for generations to come.
The funeral service for Robert will be a private gathering on Friday August 30th. As we say goodbye to Robert we know his memory will always be present. His playful spirit will dance in the wind and his warm smile can be felt from the sun. He's all around us, his melody goes on.
