Hart, Robert Olan's Obituary
Robert Olan Hart of Lutz, FL passed away on Monday June 9th, 2025 with his beloved family by his side.
Robert was born on January 28th, 1940 in Cook County, Georgia. He moved to Florida in 1959 when he was 20 years old to live with his Grandma. First he worked at Frosty Root beer, Then went to work for the city of Tampa. He retired from the city of Tampa after 32 years.
Robert was a loving, caring, sweet and great story telling man. He would give the shirt off his back and he never met a stranger. His favorite pass time was spoiling his grandkids and great grandkids.
Robert passed down his love for racing through many generations. He always had a love for his 55 T-bird. He was always tinkering with stuff and if Papa couldn’t fix it we were all screwed. If he wasn’t tinkering with something he was spending his downtime with his family at the river house.
Robert is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lois Hart, his daughter Debbie and son in law Tommy, and his son Bobby and partner Angie. His grandkids Amber and spouse Josh, Onya and spouse Johnny, Micheal and spouse Brittany, and Heather and spouse Thomas. His great grandkids Faith, Cody, Destiny, Cheyenne, Dillan, Chase, Collin, Rachel, Carter, Mason, Chloe, Mikey Jr, and T.J. He was preceded in death by his cherished grandson Robby, who passed away in 2010.
Robert had a significant impact on many lives. He will be missed dearly and will be forever in our hearts.
