Richard Smorawski's Obituary
Richard Smorawski, 65 passed away January 13th, 2017. He was born in Belgium February 26th, 1951 to the late Zenon Smorawski and Nadia Sevtsenko. He moved to the US and worked in New Jersey for many years as a turbine mechanic for General Electric. He retired and spent the last six years in Tampa. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and was a BIG New York Yankees fan. Left to cherish his memory his wife of 42 years Jeanne, along with their son Rick of Austin, TX and a daughter Melissa and her husband Teddy Hordych of West Chase, FL. Richard is also survived by his sisters Diane and Steve Wolski, Mary and Mike Cella and brother George Smorawski all residing in Long Island, New York. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11:00am at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Memories and condolences may be left online at www.sunset-fh.com.
