Richard Albert McCray's Obituary
McCray, Richard “Dick or Dickie” 76, of Tampa, FL, passed away on April 10, 2015.
He was born in Leesburg, Florida on September 16, 1938 to parents David and Maebelle (Reddick) McCray. He was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ, and formerly of Citrus Park Church of Christ. He worked at the Tampa Police Garage for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife Darlene; children Mark McCray and Mechell (Richard) McDonald; grandchildren Cory and Tori Hoover and Zac McCray; great-grandchildren Adalei and Joshua Hoover; his mother Maebelle; brother Bill (Judy); sister Pat (Ed) Johnston; niece Shelia (Billy) Barker; nephews Brian (Darleen and Darrel (Marium) Johnston; great-nieces and nephews Shawn, Amber, and Emily Jones, Jessica and Brian Johnston Jr.
A visitation will be held Sun. 1PM at the N. Blvd. Church of Christ, 14901 N. Blvd., Tampa, funeral service will follow at 2PM. A private interment service will held in the Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 US Highway 301 N., Thonotosassa, Florida.
