Regina Edenton Jones' Obituary
Regina Edenton Jones (1964-2017), age 53, of Wesley Chapel, FL, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, in her home—surrounded by family. Born in Logan, WV, Regina moved to Merritt Island, FL, in 1977. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother & friend. She witnessed to others through her passion—a ministry of sending cards, scriptures & photos. The outpour of cards and letters that she-herself received through the course of her illness & her life are a testimony of the love she shared. She is an inspiration to those she left behind. She is survived by her husband of 35 years—Michael Jones, two children—Bridget & Justin (Jennie) Jones, two grandchildren—Jocelyn & Jett, and her sister—Glenna Jean Prince. Regina is also preceded in death by her parents—Bill Edenton & Kathleen Jones, plus another sister—Lou Ann Jones, from Ohio.
Family-visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017, from 2:00pm to 2:30pm. Funeral Service will begin at 2:30pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (11005 U.S. Hwy 301 North, Thonotosassa, FL, 33592) followed by a graveside service.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, you may contribute a quilt to the Jones family, and/or make a donation in memory of Regina, to the Hope Children’s Home, 11415 Hope International Dr., Tampa, FL, 33625, www.hopechildrenshome.org .
