Rebecca Malabe's Obituary
Rebecca loved nature and gardening. She planted all of the trees around her house. Her family had several farms in Puerto Rico, where she acquired a green thumb. Rebecca lived there until the age of 9, then moved to New York, where she fell in love with the city life.
She was a true lover of animals and had many pets throughout her lifetime. She adored and loved her family and friends, near and far. But the one she loved the most was God.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Eleuterio Rodriguez Sr. Her husband Victor Malabe. Her brother Peter Rodriguez. Her sisters, Aleja Nieves and Luz Lebron.Rebecca is survived by her mother, Fredeswinda Garcia Garcia. Her children, Nailly Malabe (partner, Eddie Shaw), Victor Malabe Jr. (partner, Lilian Vega) and Daphne Malabe (spouse, Leslie Malabe). Her grandchildren, Jason Malabe, Justin Malabe and Samantha Malabe. Her siblings, Marina Pintor and Eleuterio Rodriguez Jr. Many nieces and nephews.
There is a service being held at Sunset Memory Gardens on Sunday, April 19th, 2026, at 11am.
