Randy C. Ballard Lakeland:
Randy C. Ballard, age 65, passed away unexpectedly in his home July 12, in Lakeland Florida. He was born August 30, 1957 in Tampa, Florida. Randy was preceded in death by his Father, Gerald Douglas Ballard, Sr. and his loving mother Frances Ballard. He will be greatly missed by his surviving family, his brother Doug Ballard (Judy), sister Debbie Patrick (Jim), sister Rhonda Lane (Tim) and 3 nephews and 3 nieces and their children. Randy worked for Tampa Electric for 43 years in the line department. He recently retired and was so passionate about raising his cows. He was a hard worker with a gentle spirit, he loved his family. After a long work day he enjoyed watching the trains go by while resting on his front porch swing. Randy will be greatly missed by so many. He touched so many lives with his kindness. If he knew you needed help, he would be right there. He was a simple man who led a simple life. He was truly a sweetheart. In humor, for those who knew him, Lord help those who poked the bear!
Funeral service will be held August 19th 11:00 am visitation with family 12N service at Sunset Funeral Home Memory Gardens, 11005 N US Hwy. 301, Thonotosassa, FL. 33592.
