Rachel,
When I heard of your passing, my heart broke. From the innocent elementary years to the wild high school times, you have some of my favorite memories. The one that will always stand out the most was in eleventh grade. We decided that we looked too good to go to school and the mall was a better option.
At church one Sunday, our Pastor was talking about death. He asked us a question....if you truly believe in God and Heaven, why are we so sad when people die? To me it's because we are left here on Earth to pick up the shattered pieces left behind.
Our saddest goodbye is someone else's greatest hello. Her family was waiting for her with open arms, just like she will be when she meets you again.
There is no pain, sadness, or sickness in Heaven. I will forever hear her voice, just like it was 20 something years ago.
Love Always,
Mindy
