Patty Green's Obituary
Patricia "Patty" Green, 76, of Tampa, passed away July 20, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who were blessed to know her.
Patty was the kindest, sweetest person to everyone she touched in her life. She loved to cook, especially at the holidays, and she wanted everyone to be together to celebrate them. She always had a warm hug and good advice for whoever needed it. She put everyone else before herself. She truly knew how to make everyone feel special. She also loved her dog, Ryder, and she was his mom too. She will be missed very dearly until we are all home in Heaven together.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Kenneth Reed, Sr.; and two brothers, Larry Reed and Donny Reed.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Larry Green; 3 daughters, Paula (Frank) Petrino, Wendy (Sam) Eldridge, and Mary Ann Deas; 2 sons, Danny (Stephaine) Green, and Jacob (Peach) Carpenter; 3 sisters, Betty, Donna, and Rhonda; 2 brothers, Kenny and Jimmy; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
There will be a gathering of friends and family on Saturday, July 26th, from 10am to 12pm, Celebration of Life service at 12, both at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N US Hwy 301, Thonotosassa, 33592. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens 1pm, at the same address.
