Patress A Bally's Obituary
Patress (Pat) Ann Bally passed away at home at the age of 87 on September 9th, 2020. She was born November 22, 1932 in Springerville, AZ and lived in many cities in the mid-west as her family moved during her childhood. She graduated with honors from Andover High School, Andover, Kansas. Pat was fiercely independent, retiring from Lee Pilcher Realty at age 86 and always living on her own.
Pat was a caring mother to Susan (Milan) and Jamie (Susie), doting grandmother of Ryan (Taylor), Heather (Bill), Daniel and Rachel, loving great-grandmother to Liam, Quinn, Julian, Everett, Cooper and Savannah. She was predeceased by Father, John Patrick Reilly, mother, Wanda, and brothers, Joseph and Michael. She was married to Sam Bally for 37 years, remaining friends even after separation.
Pat had a great many hobbies. She was an avid bowler; on many bowling teams in the Temple Terrace area over the years. She was president of the PTA and volunteered at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI). She was incredibly artistic and was always working on a sewing project, cross-stitching, painting, crocheting or playing her piano or accordion. She enjoyed working in the yard on her favorite Ixora plants or just swinging on her porch swing. More than anything, she valued family above all and could always be counted on in the audience of any school event, concert, recital or awards banquet, cheering on her grands and eventually great-grands. Her presence will be dearly missed and will forever be in our hearts.
A service will be held for family on October 17th.In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund.
