Oommen P. George's Obituary
Oommen Payikkada George, 72, of Tampa, FL., passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019. Born February 5, 1947 in Venmoney Kerala, India, he was the son of the late Payikkada Oommen and Thankamma (Koshy) George.
Survivors include his loving wife, Sicily (Samuel) George; his son, Jerry (Bessy) George; his sisters, Molly (Babu) Oommen, Susan (Roy) Thomas, Elsy (Varghese) Koshy, Remani Thomas; as well as his grandsons, Ezekiel and Zachary. Oommen was also preceded in death by his sister, Kunjannamma Kuruvilla.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Marks Mar Thoma Church, 11029 Davis Road, Tampa, FL 33637 on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 9:30am. Visitation 6-9pm. Graveside Service will follow at Sunset Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 11005 North Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592 on Thursday at 11am. Flowers are welcome!
