Nellie Silva's Obituary
It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Nellie Silva {Pages), our loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all whose lives she has touched, on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in Tampa, Florida.
Nellie was born in Key West, FL on August 21, 1931 and was raised in New York City. As a young adult she moved her family to Tampa, FL where she remained for the duration of her life.
Nellie is survived by her two sons, Rene Rivas and wife Sarah, Rick Rivas and wife Vicki, three daughters Rosie Rivas, Debra Cochran and husband Greg , Lisa Salas and husband Argelio, Jr: and her 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren of Tampa, FL.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rosalynn Rivas.
A memorial service will take place from 12pm-1pm at Sunset Funeral Home & Memory Gardens on Sunday, June 26, 2022. There will be a burial following the service.
