Monroe D. Butler's Obituary
Monroe D. Butler, 81, passed away on November 26, 2018. Monroe was born on March 11, 1937 to Fletcher and Ellen Butler. Monroe grew up in Tampa and eventually settled in Thonotosassa. Monroe was the owner and operator of Sweet Water Well Drilling Corp since 1966. Monroe enjoyed traveling and fishing in his spare time. Monroe served in the United States Coast Guard. He was a great friend, honest hardworking man that was devoted to helping anyone he could. Monroe is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by loving sister Betty L. Bowen of Altha, FL; nephew Donnie Bowen and Wife Hilda of Blountstown, FL; niece Debra Wells and husband John of Seffner, FL ; great nieces: Kristy Therrien and husband Daniel and their children: Trentan and Katelyn of Altha, FL, and Jennifer Dalvine and Husband Bill of Seffner, FL and their children: Billy and Jacob; and great nephews: Bobby Bowen and John Wells and his children Joshua and Caleb; and along with a host of other family, friends, and business associates. A graveside service will be held on Thursday December 06, 2018 at 10 am at Sunset Funeral Home and Memory Gardens 11005 N US HWY 301 Thonotosassa Florida 33592.
