I was already planning a Florida trip with my friend Kay next fall. From her cousin Sue (Burger) Gillett:I have many fond memories of Hope (Hopie), her siblings and parents, our Burger grandparents and other relatives from my growing-up years in WV. Hope was always very kind to me, included me in her activities during my summer visits (I could watch the band practice-- she was a majorette -- or the cheerleaders. I recall going or at least one game where she was a cheerleader.Being her younger female cousin by about four years, I might have not been considered a "tag-a-long" or a nuisance. NEVER the case.
