Miriam N Yoder's Obituary
Miriam N. Yoder, 57, passed away August 1, 2016. She was born December 19, 1958 in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania to the late Noah and Elizabeth (Stoltzfus) Yoder. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth and niece, Joanna.
Miriam came to Sarasota County in the 80’s from Pennsylvania and was a member of Ashton Community Fellowship. She was a cashier for Publix and enjoyed crafts, making cards, her blue willow dishes and hosting friends and family at her home.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Zachary of Sarasota; sisters, Rebecca Yoder of Sarasota; Mattie Yoder of Sarasota; Rachel Beachy and her husband Ray of Winfield, Pennsylvania; Hannah Miller and her husband Leon of Middleburg, Pennsylvania; Ruth Miller and her husband Fred of Grove City, Minnesota; Naomi Yoder of Sarasota; Mary Beachy and her husband Marvin of Goshen, Indiana; Judith Nisley and her husband Arnold of Hutchinson, Kansas; and Heidi Miller and her husband Orvin of Fort Collins, Colorado; brother, Leon Yoder and his wife Joyce of Hartville, Ohio.
There will be a visitation on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at Ashton Community Fellowship 2895 Ashton Road, Sarasota, Florida 34231. Funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm followed by interment at Sunnyside Mennonite Church Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Miriam’s honor to Ashton Community Fellowship.
