Miss Mildred was a dear friend to my mother, Josie Pickett, for approximately 60 years and became a good friend to me and my family. I have many wonderful memories of her. Some of my own and some are in stories that she and my mother told me about their working years together at Lykes Brothers. Over the past couple of years,we made some special memories with her at some of my son Skyler's gigs. She was a hard working, caring, fun-loving, quick witted woman of Faith; and I will never forget her, the times we spent together or our phone conversations. She was there to talk to me on the phone when my Mom passed away in June. We talked about many aspects of our lives and shared our feelings about many things. She wanted her family and close friends to all be saved. I will miss you sweet lady, but I have no doubts about where you are. Give my Mom and Dad a big hug. Love you. RIP precious lady.
