Mercy Koshy's Obituary
Mercy Koshy was born in Pallipad Kadackel House to the late Kadackel Koshy and Pennamma Kurian on January 24, 1949. Mercy passed peacefully on January 6, 2024. at her home in Wesley Chapel, Florida, surrounded by family. Mercy’s greatest joy in life was to unconditionally serve and pray for everyone she came across. She had unwavering faith in and love for Christ. She led an unimaginable Christ-like life. Her final wish would be to live in prayer, love each other like family, and live a life of giving.
She is survived by her loving husband, Thumpamon Vadakkemelathil G. Koshy. She was blessed with 2 boys Jason Koshy married to Dee and Kurian Koshy married to Annie, and 4 grandchildren (Sebastian, Sophia, Timothy, and Elizabeth). She is also survived by her 3 brothers (Kurian Koshy, Thampy Kurian, and Fr. Alexander J. Kurien), 2 sisters (Ammini George and Lilly Kurian), and numerous nieces and nephews.
The viewing will be on Friday, January 12th at 6pm with funeral services on Saturday, January 13th at 12:30pm. Both will be held at St. Gregorios Malankara Orthodox Church, 11407 Jefferson Rd, Thonotosassa, Fl 33592.
May the Lord grant Mercy eternal rest among the Saints and may the love of Christ sustain her beloved grieving family. May her memory be eternal!
